Retweet of the Day - October 16, 2013

Early in Game 3 of the American League Championship series between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit, there was a brief power failure. The lights went out, causing a 17 minute delay. Naturally, the Twittersphere was abuzz with tweeters tossing in their 140 characters on the incident.

Also well known are the myriad economic and fiscal problems experienced by the City of Detroit during the last five years. Money problems are nothing to make fun of, but it is inevitable that a tweet like the following, by Tom Brady's Ego (‏@TomBradysEgo):

"Can someone spot Detroit some cash so they can get the lights turned back on. #ALCS

Look Ma! No lights!
