The New York Jets announced that Mark Sanchez will likely need surgery to repair his torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. This will probably end Sanchez's season as well as his tenure with the Jets. Sanchez injured the shoulder when Head Coach Rex Ryan put Sanchez into the final, irrelevant, preseason game late in the fourth quarter behind the second team offensive line. Of course, disaster followed.
