Scott Boras is the super agent of Major League Baseball. He has represented, and made wealthy, many a superstar. So it made a splash when the news broke that New York Yankees All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano fired Boras and signed with Roc Nation Sports, owned by rap mogul Jay-Z.

Ryan Weiss (‏@RyanWeiss) suggests, in today's retweet, that Boras needs to keep up with the Joneses (or, in this case, the Carters).

The real question is not: "Why did Robinson Cano make Jay-Z his new agent?" but rather "When is Scott Boras dropping his new hip-hop album?"

I don't think so.
