It's October. The New York Jets, at times, look like a bad Halloween trick. Geno Smith hiked it up a notch by losing a fumble against the Tennessee Titans in a manner that is becoming a dubious Jets tradition. What a circus...!
Many of you recall last Thanksgiving when Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez served up the infamous "butt fumble", when he lost the ball after face planting into one of his own offensive lineman's posteriors. Geno Smith, last Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, while being sacked, attempted to shift the football behind his back from his right hand to his left hand, losing the ball in the process.
Gang Green is just a source of punchlines this season, as evidenced by today's retweet, by Jason Koder (@JHOG1):
