All Star in Derek Jeter's Lineup

Derek Jeter is enjoying one of his best first half seasons in years, looking and hitting like he is 10 years younger. Jeter is my age, so while I am a lifelong Yankee hater, I do draw inspiration from Jeter's success so late in his athletic career.

Another source of inspiration is the roster of women Jeter has dated during his career. While Jeter is a starter in tonight's All-Star game, the All-Star in his lineup is his fiance', actress Minka Kelly. She is the theme of today's chick pic. Enjoy!

Prince Fielder crushed balls into the outfield seats in Kansas City last night, en route to winning the Home Run Derby for the second time. He had his sons and his wife with him as he was being presented the winner's trophy. While I appreciate the family moment as much as anyone, brother needs to do something about that kid's hair. Then again, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Today's retweet is from Braves Diva (@BravesDiva) who summed up the Fielder familiy's follicles rather well.

Actually some hair products would have the young Fielder on the left looking TIGHT! Products like clippers, brushes and combs...!

Two Degrees of Separation from Mike Trout

With the All-Star break upon us, we are sure to get a healthy does of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout, a rapidly rising star in Major League Baseball. In doing a little surfing on young Trout, I saw that his girlfriend's name is Jessica Tara Cox. Upon searching for a photo, I found this very alluring photo of actress Tara Reid. Enjoy!
