Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra scored a lot of points among Heat fans (and doubters) with a clutch victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals last night. LeBron James' performance was historic and Herculean, but Spoelstra flat out out-coached Boston Celtics Head Coach Doc Rivers. He was three steps in front of Doc throughout the night and it showed.
Today's pic is that of Spoelstra's (rumored to be) girlfriend, former Heat cheerleader Nikki Sapp. Spoelstra has been a whipping boy and a punchline at times in sports media. With each passing day, I am not sure why.
Those of you who are Twitter or sports talk radio junkies have, no doubt, heard about the "Good job! Good effort!" kid encouraging the Miami Heat as they exited the floor following last night's loss to the Boston Celtics.
