What a Runner Up!

WTA ranked #13 Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia came so close, but was so far away from a Grand Slam victory. The 24-year-old Cibulkova lost in straight sets to China's Li Na, 7-6 (7-3), 6-0. While Ms. Cibulkova is the subject of today's Chick Pic, the Daily Hat Trick offers a hearty congratulations to Na in her first Australian Open and second career Grand Slam title (2011 French Open). The 31-year-old Na is the oldest women's champion to win in Australia during the Open Era.
