Retweet of the Day - October 7, 2013

Embattled New York Giants running back David Wilson scored his first touchdown of the season yesterday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Wilson has had a ton of problems hanging on to the ball this year. He lost two fumbles at critical moments in the opening day game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, for all of the country to see.

Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin suggested that Wilson could be benched should the acute case of Fumble-itis continue. Wilson, naturally, was elated after scoring six and celebrated with a double back flip, to the delight of highlight show producers everywhere.

Today's retweet, from Mike Tartaglione (‏@Tarswaglione), would be a buzzkill for Mr. Wilson, but is nonetheless not untrue (how's that for a multi-negative?):

"David Wilson does a back flip every time he doesn't fumble the ball"

Wilson would later leave the game with a neck injury. The football gods giveth and taketh away.
