Retweet of the Day - September 25, 2013

Sometimes the best is saved for last. Cleveland Indians designated hitter Jason Giambi (.181, 9 HR, 31 RBI, 69 GP), age 42, became the oldest player in Major League baseball history* to hit a walk-off home run, stunning the Chicago White Sox with a two run homer with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning in Cleveland. The win keeps the Indians a full game ahead of the Texas Rangers in the race for the final American League Wild Card playoff berth with five games remaining in the regular season.

Of course, Giambi's career is somewhat tainted. He was linked with some of the most high profile offenders of the MLB Steroid Era, eventually admitting to being a PED user. Still, he has had a productive career and has shown that he has a little something left in the tank during the twilight of his career.

Today's retweet is by Tony Mazur ‏(@TonyMazur):

"Is Jason Giambi linked to the Biogenesis clinic, or is it straight Geritol?"

I think some "Just for Men" would be in order, too.
