Retweet of the Day - June 12, 2013

The San Antonio Spurs rained 16 three point shots down upon the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals in San Antonio last night. The Spurs won by 36 points. Spurs shooting guard Danny Green went 7 of 9 from downtown, drilling shots from as long as 27 feet.

If you grew up playing sports video games, like I did, you'll remember the cheat codes that would give the players incredible advantages. One cheat code, prominent in Konami video games made for the Nintendo Entertainment System, was so well known (especially for the 1987 hit 2D shooter game, "Contra"), that there have been multiple references to it in pop culture...and now the Twittersphere.

Today's retweet is from comedian Jason Hunter ‏(@jhuntercomedy):

"Danny Green just hit A B B B A A Up Down Down Left Right. Opened up a whole new level. #NBAFinals"

Actually, the code was, "up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start" but you get his point.
