Retweet of the Day - June 10, 2013

The Miami Heat completely dismantled the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, 103-84. The Heat went on a furious run early in the fourth quarter and built a lead that would eventually swell to 27 points. During the the hemorrhaging of points to the Heat by the Spurs, the Heat extinguished the last flicker of hope for San Antonio when Heat forward and league Most Valuable Player LeBron James blocked what appeared to be a certain slam dunk attempt by the Spurs Brazillian center Tiago Splitter.

It was the singular highlight of the evening in a second half completely owned by the Heat. There were infinite clever one liners about the blocked shot floating in the Twittersphere. Today's retweet, by Danica Patrick Ewing (‏@DanPatEwing):

"That Lebron block just collapsed the economy of whatever country Splitter is from."

This is what ESPN's Stuart Scott would call "gangsta slapped".
