Retweet of the Day - April 5, 2013

Long time Texas Rangers outfielder and 2010 American League Most Valuable Player Josh Hamilton signed with the A.L. West division rival Los Angeles Angels this past offseason. The Angels travel to the Dallas area for a series with the Rangers this weekend, including a nationally televised rubber match on Sunday night.

Adding insult to injury for Rangers Fan, Hamilton, during the offseason, was making comments that suggesting Dallas was a football town and not a "real" baseball town. While I personally think that is absolutely true (the Dallas Cowboys run the sports scene there), Rangers Fan may not have taken kindly to those words.

Today's Retweet of the Day is about Hamilton's return to Texas. This is a first for the Retweet of the Day: a Twitter alley-oop, by Jeff Polman ‏(@mysteryball58) and Joe Florkowski ‏(@joeflorkowski):

Polman (alley): "The movie version of Josh Hamilton's return to Arlington is airing soon: "There Will Be Boos"."

Florkowski (oop!): "@mysteryball58 Funny, because Josh Hamilton's earlier work was called "There Will Be Booze""

I like the follow through on the Twitter alley-oop more than the follow through Hamilton's shot.
