This morning, I heard that former NFL kicker and legendary, longtime NFL play-by-announcer Pat Summerall died yesterday of cardiac arrest while recovering from hip surgery in a Dallas area hospital. Today's retweet is from columnist Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons), whose tweet, back on January 8, 2012 captures the essence of Summerall's legacy.
