Retweet of the Day - March 19, 2013

Dunks happen every night in the NBA. They happen dozens of times every night in every game. The basketball is a vertical game at the NBA level.

Every now and then, however, a dunk is so impressive that it is worthy of a highlight reel. Some dunks are so nasty that the defender ends up being an afterthought as he is posterized. But every so often, a few times per year, someone gets dunked on so badly that he is as memorable or more memorable as the person doing the dunking.

Last week, DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers made Brandon Knight of the Pistons into a headliner for all of the wrong reasons. Last night, LeBron James gave the Celtics' Jason Terry his 15 minutes of infamy. That is the inspiration of today's Retweet, by SportsPickle @sportspickle

"Brandon Knight would like to thank Jason Terry for getting dunked on last night."

Brandon Knight passed the torch to Jason Terry. If I see Jerry reaching out to me, I'd pull my hand back at the last second and say, "PSYCHE!"
