Retweet of the Day - October 8, 2012

Tim Tebow is the gift that keeps on giving to anyone in sports media. From little guys like me to talking heads on ESPN, the mere mention of Tebow's name is going to garner attention, voluntarily or not. Factor in that his team is on Monday Night football tonight as the New York Jets host the undefeated Houston Texans, and it takes little more than a spark to light the fuse of Tebow Mania.

Today's retweet is a reminder, however, that while Tebow is a devout Christian and a good guy, he has a long way to go before assuming the reigns as the quarterback of the Jets or any other NFL team, if he ever gets there. Actor and comic Michael Blackson ‏@MichaelBlackson ("Are We There Yet?" )sums it up in a clever tweet, retweeted over 200 times today.

"Tim Tebow grabbed his Bible n forgot his play book. Texans 26 jets 13"

This wouldn't be the first time Timothy Richard grabbed the wrong gear.
