Major League Baseball teams have been making power moves to position themselves for the playoffs. The San Francisco Giants are in a battle with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West division race. The Giants acquired All-Star outfielder Hunter Pence from the struggling Philadelphia Phillies.
