Hooray for the Grand Ole U.S. of A

Last week's Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare, regardless of your politics, is yet another example of how brilliant the founders of this country were when they engineered our system of government and its checks and balances. In recognition of that, and in recognition of the upcoming Independence Day holiday, I wanted to offer a tribute to the red, white, and blue.

The Confederate Battle Flag is symbolic of events that divided this great country and threatened to tear it apart. This young woman is using it in away that should bring men together in agreement. 4

Lowrider model Sharon Sotto reminding us that she is as American as Uncle Sam and the automobile. 5

Of course we love our American reality television, and what could be more symbolic of that guily pleasure than the hottie everyone loves to hate, Heidi Montag. 6

I wish all women had the patriotic enthusiasm of Marla Maples. 7

Some subtle, but tasteful bling to go along with the red, white, and blue. 8

And what screams "Americana" more than the Vice President that nearly was wearing an Old Glory bikini and standing up for our Second Amendment right to bare arms? 9
